Julie Ackendorf
Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Community and Human Services from SUNY Empire State College and minored in child and family development. Reading and writing have always been her passions and she looks forward to every opportunity she has to put pen to paper.
Julie and her husband have a son who was born in March of 2007 and a daughter born in November of 2008. She is currently at home with her children focusing on her freelance work.
Julie has a wealth of academic and real world experience in child development. In addition to her minor in college and being a parent herself, Julie previously worked as a teachers assistant in a child care center for four years. Most recently she was working as a telerecruiter for the American Red Cross Blood Services before resigning after the birth of her son.
